What is International Apprenticeship Mobility?
International apprenticeship mobility represents a unique educational opportunity where apprentices train abroad for 1-3 months while remaining registered in their home program.
Key Features:
- Duration: 1 to 3 months during apprenticeship training
- Format: Alternating model (classroom theory + workplace practice)
- Funding: Primarily supported by Erasmus+ (European Union program)
- Outcome: Apprentices develop international competencies while earning recognized qualifications
How It Works:
- Apprentice continues their home apprenticeship contract
- Contract is temporarily suspended during mobility period
- Apprentice integrates into partner training center and employer abroad
- They work under local employment conditions (with full protections)
- Upon return, apprentice reintegrates into home program
- Competencies gained are recognized and documented

A: Kesher performs careful selection and preparation. If issues arise, we address them quickly. Serious problems trigger protocols: coaching, replacement, or early return (rare but possible).
Q: What languages do we need to speak?
A: Kesher communicates in French, English, and German. Apprentices have minimum B1 English level. Many partners prefer French or local languages.
Q: How do we know the apprentice will be qualified?
A: All apprentices are pre-screened. Minimum 1 year into their 2-3 year apprenticeship. You receive detailed CV and background. Video introduction provided.
